visits

it's been awhile. sorry about that.

my grandparents came up to visit us for about a week and a half and we had a blast!

it was full of shopping, guns, birthdays, dinners, driving, mountain adventures, ax throwing, chaos, more guns, games, and family visits. 

we can't wait to party with these guys again in december :)

review

it's been awhile since i've posted anything. i apologize. there is a good reason for that and it's because i HAVEN'T BEEN HOME! after my mom and brother came to visit the hubs and i had to get things together that lets just say, should have been put together quite awhile ago, for the jepson family reunion. it was pure chaos/madness in the sanders household that week. BUT we made it to the reunion aka camp central for four days with over one hundred people. insane? probably! but we all had a blast even with the occasional rain storm. there were games, movies, challenges, paintball wars, laughter, pictures, and food!

after we got back from that excursion it was time to get ready for our next crazy busy weekend jam packed with events such as the RSL game (which they won!), ANOTHER family reunion, a water park/city pool, family bonding, sleepovers, and a farewell. it was one thing after the next, literally, but all in all great weekend. 

now this weekend has almost arrived and shane and i have decided that we will do nothing this weekend but relax in front of the tv and enjoy the olympics with some ice cream in hand! 

some more craziness will come starting monday but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it :)

texas visiting utah

well it's monday which means i woke up and didn't have a little brother sleeping on my couch this morning, which was WEIRD! ha we dropped off my mom and brother at the airport yesterday afternoon and said our goodbyes. it was a really fun week and we enjoyed having them. the house is SUPER quiet now which is kinda creeping me out. after our zoo adventure on tuesday we chilled, played some ticket to ride, went shooting, cut some hair, and ate..a lot! 

now it's time for the hubs and i to get ready for his family reunion starting thursday. the sanders are in charge this year so it's going to be a chaotic, crazy, good time! i'll be sure to post pictures once we get back.

zoo time!

i l.o.v.e the zoo! seriously though, take me there and i'll be the happiest girl ever. while my mom and brother are visiting us we decided it was a place to hit up and we had a blast! and the new polar bear exhibit is amazing! definitely something to check out if you are looking for a summer outing.

back home and exhausted

texas was great! had a wonderful time with the family. a chaotic time with the wedding. BUT it went smoothly the day of and turned out great. although the hubs and i had a lovely time in texas (more stories about that later) we are glad to be home and back in our own bed. i must say that we are terribly exhausted though. might take a few days for re-energizing. time to get caught up on work, stuff around the house, and summer school work for me. whoo. which means...it might be a little while before i get some pictures up of our trip to the good ole south.

SO i wanted to at least put up this video that my dear uncle scott introduced me to after the bride, himself, and i went and had our nails done before the wedding. i couldn't help but laugh since we had JUST experienced this.

easter weekend

our easter weekend was unlike others that i've had in the past.

it consisted of:

shooting my first gun EVER

spending time with family

operation JB creeper: aka hiding a cut out justin beiber to scare others

having a crazy large easter egg hunt

enjoying some canasta (it is NOT an old persons game)

celebrating TWO birthdays

and getting stuck in traffic on the way home.

easter weekend was a blast and a half! it was fun to get away from the crazy north and enjoy some sunny days down south with family and friends. now may needs to hurry and show up so i can get back down to my roots for a splendid week :)
